Katy Perry Borong Nominasi VMA 2011

   Katy Perry memborong 9 nominasi dalam penghargaan MTV Video Music Award 2011.



   Dari 14 nominasi, Katy mendapatkan 9 di antaranya. Termasuk Best Pop Video, Best Collaboration, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Special Effects untuk lagu 'E.T.' lalu nominasi Video of the Year dan Best Female Video untuk video klip 'Firework' serta Best Cinematography di lagu 'Teenage Dream'.

   Katy pun bersaing ketat dengan penyanyi Adele yang meraih 7 nominasi. Dalam ketujuh nominasi tersebut Adele bersaing ketat dengan Katy.

   Penyany R&B kanye West harus puas dengan enam nominasi yang dikantonginya untuk dua video klip 'All of the Light' dan 'Power'. Bruno Mars pun mendapatkan empat nominasi untuk Video of the Year, Best Male Video, Best Pop Video dan Best Choreography.

   Eminem, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, 30 Seconds to Mars dan Nicki Minaj kompak meraih tiga nominasiMTV VMA 2011. Sementara Britney Spears mengantongi dua nominasi untuk penghargaan Best Pop Video dan Best Choreography untuk lagu 'Till the World Ends'.

   Musisi lain yang juga mendapatkan nominasi yaitu Beastie Boys, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Linkin Park, Justin Bieber dan banyak lagi. Acara akan digelar di Nokia Theater, Los Angeles.
